Sean was an immigrant. Maybe he came from England or Ireland.
He went to New York by boat.
It wasn't confortable so the trip was tiring...
He arrived at Ellis Island and he stayed there for three days.
What happened there? He had a medical visit. I think the doctor asked him questions about his family, his health,his origins...

Sean était un immigrant. Il venait peut-être d' Angleterre ou d'Irlande.
Il est allé à New York en bateau.
Ce n'etait pas confortable donc le voyage était fatiguant...
Il est arrivé à Ellis Isalnd et il y est resté trois jours.
Que s'est-il passé alors? Il a eu une visite médicale. Je pense que le docteur lui a posé des questions sur sa famille, sa santé, ses origines...
